The Employment Support Service for IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) clients in Derby and Derbyshire is helping people who are accessing IAPT services and who also have employment needs that could be preventing them from staying in or finding work.

In Deryshire, Ingeus enables combined mental health treatment and employment support for IAPT clients. 

We provide one-to-one support from an employment advisor for IAPT clients who are being supported by therapists from Insight Healthcare, Talking Mental Health Deryshire, Trent Psychological Therapies Service and Vita Health Group. 

What we offer

Employment Advisors in deliver a personalised employment service working alongside an IAPT client's therapy treatment plan. This could include:
  • Advice and support in liaising with employers to help them understand individuals needs in work.
  • Support to find the sort of work that individual IAPT clients want to do. 
  • A tailored action plan that puts IAPT clients in control of their future in work
  • Help with CV writing, cover letters and job applications
  • Tips and advice on how to best job search to find the right job
  • Ongoing assistance and guidance when starting or returning to work
